Get done with work on Saturday evening, plan an outfit and go to wherever the party is, followed by an exhausted Sunday because you didn’t get enough sleep. It’s the same drill every weekend. You can switch it up by doing things differently for a few weekends instead of doing the same thing over and over again. Here’s a bunch of things to try:
#1. Host an actual dinner; the food need not be fancy, but the absence of mind numbing loud music makes way for conversation.
#2. Spend the time alone, with a good book, or simply thinking things.
#3. Go for a nice drive, one where you are playing music you like and are either alone or with the people you love.
#4. Instead of going to a party every weekend, make Saturday nights movie nights with your friends and/or family.
#5. Have a karaoke night.
#6. Go for a walk.
#7. Plan a weekend camping trip to a nearby place.
#8. Go tour museums in your city.
#9. Hibernate in your house and binge watch a few seasons of a TV show you love.
