This Trailer Of India’s First Silent LGBTQ Short Film, ‘Sisak’ Will Move You

India’s short film scene has been cutting edge since the last few years and now we have a silent LGBTQ film coming up, called ‘Sisak’. The short film is a love story between two men who meet in the compartment of a Mumbai local train. Sisak is the result of the belief that if love knows no bounds, it need not be bound with words, either.

The director Faraz Arif Ansari explains, “The government have literally pulled the tongues out of our mouth. That’s why it’s a silent film. It’s about two people who want to be together, but they can’t be because of your stupid laws.”

The trailer is here, watch it now!
